This stop-motion animated film responds to Nietzsche’s question: What if you had to live this life over and over again? I thought that I might just lie down for a while, because that sounds exhausting, no?
The content of this short film is inspired by a passage titled The Heaviest Weight from The Gay Science, written by Friedrich Nietzsche. I was inspired visually by Norman McLaren’s short animated film titled Neighbours.
